A Year at Birch Farm is a new series of seasonal suppers at The Collective at Woolsery’s beautiful space; THE POTTING SHED. We will be hosting our Spring Supper on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, alongside our friends, English sparkling wine producers, Gusbourne.

The Birch Farm gardens will be teeming with new growth and life! We are inviting everyone to the farm before dinner for a welcome glass of sparkling, a tour by our own Head Gardener, Josh Sparkes, and visit to the animal farm to see the new piglets and spring lambs. They will each give a talk about our natural farming practices and rearing of rare heritage breeds.

Then it is over to our amazing chef team, led by Toby Neal, to showcase all of those beautiful ingredients coming from our 150 acre farm in a three course feast in the Potting Shed. Each course will be paired to a sparkling wine from Gusbourne, who will be on hand to walk us through the tastings at each course.

Gusbourne not only produces wonderful English wines, but they are one of only a handful of producers that are certified by Sustainable Wines of Great Britain. Their vineyard management promotes improving soil health, reducing pesticides, promoting biodiversity and reducing their carbon footprint. All things we strongly support and believe in at The Collective.

There are only 18 seats available at this exclusive evening. £130pp, which will include welcome drinks and canapes, a three course feast, as well as wines paired with each course. Arrival at 4:30pm for farm tour and welcome drinks, dinner seating at 6pm.
