Meet our artisan chocolate supplier

We’re thrilled to be working with a new artisan chocolate supplier – just in time for Easter.

Cox&Co. craft delicious Easter eggs from single-origin cacao, which can now be found at J Andrew Shop & Post Office. These are eggs for the discerning; they feature original flavours such as Bee Pollen & Honey, Miso & Caramel and Blood Orange Crunch.

We love to hear and share the stories behind our artisan suppliers, so were delighted to get the low-down on Cox&Co. The company was founded by Gavin Cox, who spent his younger years in South America, where all the company’s cacao is grown. When developing Cox&Co. his plan was simple: to create the very best tasting chocolate, produced ethically, as possible.

The quest for quality, sustainable chocolate led Gavin to Luker Chocolate in Colombia. The estate invests in its farmers and communities and has developed environmentally sustainable farming methods. That means Cox&Co. chocolate not only tastes incredible, but is also fully traceable and produced without the use of slave labour.

Every element of the packaging is also sustainable, being plant based, fully recyclable or home compostable. And Gavin’s mother-in-law Dawn – who is a brilliant artist – created the unique artwork that decorates it.

This single-origin chocolate is a delicious treat, so if you want to spoil your loved ones with something special and sustainable this spring, a Cox&Co. egg is a cracking choice.
