Woolsery Food & Craft Market

Our new village market opened in March

Farmers markets are packed with delicious and interesting artisan produce. The food has been freshly prepared by artisans who like to share the unique story of how they created their items with care and attention.

Such was the case at the new-ish farmers market here at Woolsery (yet another reason to pop on down to this patch of North Devon).

In March 2025 we joined 29 other traders at the Village Hall where Jay was busy talking to inquisitive shoppers and visitors while selling everything from our fresh sourdough bread made by the team at The Farmers Arms to moreish homemade cakes, savoury bakes, iced coffees and cordials. In the last one on 13 April, we will also have a few bits of spring produce and plants from Birch Farm!

We love this new initiative. The Woolsery Food & Craft Market focuses on high quality produce from producers and makers who live in the local area. These are just the kind of principles that speak to us at The Collective, in other words, buy as local as possible, whenever possible.

The market takes place on the second Sunday of each month. Now that it’s up and running and the word is out, the market has already grown in size, with more new traders signed up and a much larger room to house us all.

Those who do come, might want to enjoy the fuller Collective experience and book a table for Sunday lunch at The Farmers Arms, don’t forget to make a reservation though as we’re often fully booked.

Can’t wait to see you there!
